Saia Earnings: New Facilities Continue to Ramp Up Tonnage

Less-than-truckload specialist Saia's third-quarter top line grew 9% on facility openings in new markets and share gains from bankrupt peer Yellow over the past year. Revenue met our expected run rate, as all-in yield (revenue per hundredweight, including fuel) came in slightly shy on lower fuel surcharges, but tonnage outperformed.
