AMP Earnings: Good Growth but Structural Issues Persist

AMP's underlying NPAT for 2024 grew 15% from the prior year to AUD 236 million, with profit growth across most segments except AMP Bank. Guidance for 2025 calls for broadly flat net interest margins, or NIM, platform revenue margin compression, and further operating cost reductions.
