Ecolab: Deal to Acquire Ovivo's Electronic Business Is Value-Accretive; Raising Fair Value Estimate

Ecolab announced it will acquire Ovivo's electronics business in an all-cash deal for $1.8 billion. The Ovivo business being acquired provides water purification technologies for semiconductor manufacturing. Ecolab shares were up slightly on the day, Aug. 12, following the announcement.
