Mitsubishi's September-quarter net profit dropped 42% year over year to JPY 153 billion due to seasonal factors, continued weakness in steel and coal prices, and the absence of one-off gains. The company is keeping its fiscal-year (ending March 2026) net profit guidance at JPY 700 billion.
