Moody’s Earnings: Ratings Segment Outshines Expectations

Moody’s reported fourth-quarter revenue of $1.89 billion, up 13% annually, with ratings revenue up 17%. Moody’s also provided its initial 2026 outlook, which calls for ratings revenue growth at a high-single-digit percentage rate. Shares rose 6% during the Feb. 18 intraday trading session.
