Woolworths Earnings: Lower Shelf Prices Boosting Supermarket Sales Momentum

In the first half of fiscal 2026, Woolworths' underlying NPAT increased 16% to AUD 859 million year on year. At its core supermarkets business, sales momentum is accelerating sharply after a period of relative underperformance. The dividend per share is up 15% to AUD 0.45. Shares rallied over 10%.
