Coles Earnings: Sales Growth Falling Behind That of Key Competitors

Coles Group increased sales by 3% in the first half of fiscal 2026. Efficiencies from newly commissioned warehouses and cost-cutting drove higher gross profit margins. Underlying NPAT increased by 12% to AUD 676 million. But sales growth is lagging Woolworths' and Endeavour's. Shares fell 7%.
