Mitsubishi Earnings: Forecasting Surge in Fiscal 2026 Earnings From Energy; Fair Value Raised by 8%

Mitsubishi's fiscal 2025 net profit fell 16% year over year to JPY 800 billion on impairments and the lack of one-off Lawson gains, but core profit was up 3% on copper prices and foreign exchange. The group expects net income to surge 37% in fiscal 2026 and raised its dividend forecast by 14%.
