IHI Earnings: Fair Value Estimate Rise 8% to JPY 3,640 on Stronger AE&S Margins

IHI reported first-quarter sales up by 11% year on year to JPY 375 billion. Adjusted operating margin rose 260 basis points to 8.8%, excluding property sales gains, while orders fell 15%. Shares closed 6% below the preannouncement level on Aug. 5.
