Upside Capture Ratio
Upside capture ratio is a measurement of an investment's relative performance in up markets. An up market is defined as a period (months or quarters) in which market return was positive.
An example of upside capture ratio: If an investment has an 80% upside capture ratio, then historically when the market was up 10%, the investment captured 80% of that and was up 8%.
