Ameris Bank is pleased to welcome seasoned banking executive Carl Insel as leader of its Atlanta market. Insel has more than 35 years of financial services experience and deep relationships in the Atlanta market.
Insel spent the last 16 years with First Citizens Bank, where he served as regional executive vice president. He has strong ties to the Atlanta area, having spent nearly a decade with SunTrust, now Truist, in commercial, retail, private and business banking. His experience building high-performing teams and driving relationship-based deposit growth will support Ameris Bank’s continued momentum in the market.
