C3.ai Names Stephen Ehikian as New CEO

C3.ai said Stephen Ehikian has been named as the company's new chief executive officer, effective Sept. 1.
He will succeed founder Thomas Siebel, who will continue to serve as executive chairman, the company said.
Most recently, Ehikian served as President Trump's appointee as acting administrator of the General Services Administration. Before that, he built RelateIQ and Airkit.ai, both of which were later acquired by Salesforce, C3.ai said.
Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, a member of C3.ai's board, said "Stephen combines entrepreneurial success, technological expertise, and public service experience - and a deep underlying understanding of how AI can serve both commercial markets and government."
Siebel said under Ehikian's leadership, C3.a1 has "the rare combination of the right person, at the right company, in the right market, at the right time."
