TotalEnergies to Invest Around $5.3 Billion in French Wind Farm After Winning Tender

French energy major TotalEnergies said it was chosen alongside Germany's RWE to build and operate an offshore wind farm in France.
The project will represent investment of around 4.5 billion euros ($5.32 billion) for the design, building and operation the Centre Manche 2 site, marking the company's largest investment in France in 30 years, it said Wednesday.
The 1.5-gigawatt wind farm off the coast of Normandy will provide renewable electricity to more than 1 million households, it said.
