CACI International Secures $73 Million U.S. Air Force Contract

By Terell Wright

CACI International has won a $73 million, five-year contract to continue its work modernizing the U.S. Air Force's integrated broadcast service.

The national security technology company said Thursday that the contract from the Defense Department will focus on upgrading the Air Force's network for transmitting time-sensitive tactical and strategic intelligence and targeting data across multiple domains, including air, ground and space, for the Defense Department and U.S. allies.

The contract will support the Integrated Broadcast Services-Network Services, which are used to transmit intelligence for the Air Force electronically.

CACI Chief Executive John Mengucci said the company's software-defined solutions that broaden the Air Force's network capabilities will bolster the nation's national security and allow it to maintain superiority.
