DBS Third Quarter Net Dips 2.0%

DBS Group, Singapore's largest bank, reported a decrease in third quarter net profit due to impact of global minimum tax.
Net profit for the three months ended September fell 2.0% from the same period a year ago to 2.95 billion Singapore dollars, equivalent to US$2.26 billion, the lender said Thursday.
Analysts had expected S$2.765 billion, according to a Visible Alpha consensus.
Total income climbed 3% to S$5.93 billion higher than market estimates for S$5.70 billion.
