National Presto Industries Gets $92.3M Warhead Contract With Boeing
By Kelly Cloonan
A unit of National Presto Industries received a $92.3 million subcontract from Boeing to produce the warhead for small diameter bombs.
The appliance and defense technology firm said Monday that deliveries for the award will start in late 2026 after completing its current warhead orders with Boeing.
Boeing develops and produces the small diameter bomb weapon system for the U.S. Air Force. The bomb's small size allows aircraft to carry more bombs and minimize collateral damage.
