Maruti Suzuki India Reports Higher Quarterly Net Profit

Maruti Suzuki India reported a rise in third-quarter net profit on higher revenue.
The Indian automaker said Wednesday that net profit rose 4.1% from a year earlier to 38.79 billion rupees, equivalent to $424.2 million, for the three months ended December.
Third-quarter revenue increased 29% from a year earlier to 499.04 billion rupees.
