BP Launches Sales Process For U.K. North Sea Business

British energy major BP said it is launching a sales process for its U.K. North Sea business as part of a review of its assets.
BP said Friday that it would market the business to potential buyers. The assets include five production hubs across the central North Sea and west of the Shetland Islands.
BP's North Sea business employs around 1,100 people.
