Gias Foods Recalls Two Lots of a Fettuccine Item Sold at Walmart on Risk of Listeria

By Josh Beckerman

Gias Foods recalled two lots of a fettuccine product sold under Walmart's Bettergoods brand due the risk of listeria.

The New York company recalled Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine with UPC number 194346442706 and lot numbers L6079C or L6080C.

The company said routine sampling by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services revealed that the products may contain listeria. It said no illnesses have been reported.

Gias Foods said the company and the Food and Drug Administration are investigating the issue.
