Ethiopian Airlines Orders 10 Freighter Planes from Boeing
By Katherine Hamilton
Boeing says it has received orders from Ethiopian Airlines for 10 new freighter jets.
Ethiopian Airlines ordered eight 777-8 freighters and two 777 freighters as it looks to expand its fleet to meet rising demand for cargo services.
The airline's flight currently consists of 12 777 freighters, two 767 freighters and four 737-800SF planes.
The 777-8 freighter offers the highest payload and range capability to open new markets. The airline is the first African carrier to purchase the model.
