New connector gives legal professionals access to Bloomberg Law intelligence within their Microsoft AI workflow
ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bloomberg Law today announced a connector that gives legal professionals access to its market-leading collection of federal and state court dockets data and litigation intelligence through Microsoft Copilot. The integration enables users to search and retrieve docket details and filing information, monitor matters with alerts and tracks, and surface litigation insights within the AI tools they already use.

The connector uses Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard that connects AI applications with external data and tools. Customers can search Bloomberg Law dockets and draw on litigation intelligence directly within Copilot, without conducting a separate search on the Bloomberg Law platform.
"Legal professionals are choosing where AI fits into their work, and they want access to reliable legal information in those tools," said Aaron Pierce, head of Bloomberg Law. "This connector lets our customers monitor litigation activity, review and compare filings, understand broad litigation trends, and identify opportunities, all without leaving Copilot."
The Microsoft integration is part of Bloomberg Law's broader approach of meeting legal professionals where they work – on the Bloomberg Law platform or in third-party tools. These connections give customers more choice in how they access Bloomberg Law intelligence for awareness and analysis.
