Lochlan Halloway, CFA, is a strategist for Morningstar.* He provides broad analysis of the Australian and New Zealand stock markets based on intrinsic valuations generated by our equity research team. Halloway also contributes to fundamental research on ASX-listed companies, namely in the consumer, industrials, and basic-materials sectors.
Before joining Morningstar in 2023, Halloway was an advisor at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. He previously worked as an economist at Westpac.
Halloway holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons and University Medal) from the University of Sydney and a master’s degree in financial economics from the University of Oxford. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
