Luke Yang, CFA

Luke Yang, CFA, is an equity analyst, technology, for Morningstar. He covers IT services and software companies, such as IBM, Oracle, and Snowflake.

Before joining Morningstar, Yang spent a year interning at a New York-based nonprofit organization researching historical central bank policies across emerging markets. Before that, he worked in equity research at the Bank of China International in Shanghai.

Yang holds a bachelor’s degree with a double major in finance and social science from New York University Shanghai and a master’s degree in international finance and economic policy from Columbia University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
