Robert Leary is an associate equity analyst, communication services, for Morningstar. He assists in the coverage of US telecom and media companies.
Leary has been with Morningstar since 2022. Before joining the equity research team in 2025, he was a data specialist, supporting research and client-facing teams through the analysis of fund, equity, and portfolio data. Before Morningstar, Leary worked in corporate finance.
Leary holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in financial technologies from the University of Central Florida. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
