Stricter Chinese energy intensity regulations are set to accelerate the retirement of outdated polysilicon capacity, positioning Daqo for an earlier-than-anticipated turnaround.
The rebalancing of polysilicon supply/demand will take longer than anticipated, resulting in a prolonged downturn.
