Puma: Anta's Investment Highlights Undervaluation but Creates Uncertainty; Shares Undervalued

Anta Sports Products has agreed to pay EUR 35 per share to buy the Pinault family's 29% stake in fellow sportswear producer Puma. Anta intends to pursue board representation but does not plan to bid for the rest of the firm. Anta will finance the EUR 1.5 billion deal with cash on hand.
