2026 is turning out to be another heavy investment year for MercadoLibre, as the company continues to expand its Mercado Envios and Mercado Pago platforms. In our view, this is the correct approach for the firm, as these are key distinguishing features of the company relative to its e-commerce competitors and major drivers of its dominant position in Latin America. Their success also pushes the rising adoption of e-commerce and digital payments in the region, expanding MercadoLibre’s total addressable market.
