Quadratic Deflation ETF BNDD Strategy
Strategy
The investment seeks to benefit from lower growth, deflation, lower or negative long-term interest rates, and/or a reduction in the spread between shorter and longer term interest rates by investing in U.S. Treasuries and options. The fund invests in Treasuries of various maturities directly or through other exchange-traded funds that invest in Treasuries. The “option strategies” used by the fund are structured to limit the loss to the fund and include long options, long spreads and butterflies and are cash settled and tied to an index referencing the shape of the U.S. SOFR interest rate curve. The fund is non-diversified.
