State Street recently adjusted the fund’s name to conform to a new branding convention and cited a competitive assessment and the fund’s asset growth (USD 834 million at the end of July 2026) as reasons to trim fees to 0.55% from 0.70% when it launched in early 2025. The latter is a welcome move that should help keep the strategy competitive in a large field of attractively priced peers in the intermediate core-plus Morningstar Category.
