Analyst Note

On Sept. 30, 2026, Invesco announced that portfolio manager Brian Jurkash is retiring from Invesco effective immediately. Jurkash has been co-lead manager of the Large Cap Relative Value strategy, which is the foundation for Invesco Growth and Income and Invesco Equity and Income, since 2018. His co-lead for the last eight years, Matthew Titus, will continue as a manager of the fund. Will Guthrie remains a portfolio manager on both funds, while Chuck Burge will continue to serve as the fixed-income manager on the Equity and Income version. Sergio Marchelli is also being removed from the portfolio manager list; he remains as a senior client portfolio manager for the funds. The team in place shows enough stability to retain its Average People rating; the fund’s process remains the same. These moves are part of sweeping changes that include multiple departures across the firm’s fundamental equities platform to streamline responsibilities. Invesco previously announced that on or around Dec. 18, 2026, Invesco Growth and Income will change its name Invesco Value Income. This is intended to better reflect the team’s value style of investing and will put the Fund Names Rule (Rule 35-1 under the 1940 Act) into effect, meaning that 80% of assets must go to value stocks.
