Strategy

The investment seeks to maximize total return, consisting of capital appreciation and current income. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes, if any) in U.S. companies. In addition, under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes, if any) in dividend paying securities. The fund also may at times invest in ETFs and other investment companies for the purpose of gaining exposure to the stock market while maintaining liquidity.
