The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of U.S. companies. The fund typically owns between twenty to thirty issuers in its portfolio and as a result, a higher percentage of the fund's total assets may at times be invested in a particular sector or industry. It generally invests in the securities of large- and mid-capitalization companies. The fund uses a value investment philosophy in selecting equity securities. It is non-diversified.
