The investment seeks to provide current income and long-term growth of income and capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in dividend-paying equity securities of companies with small-to-medium market capitalizations. Its investments include the securities of foreign issuers and real estate investment trusts.
