UL Solutions Names Executive Vice President and Chief AI & Digital Trust Officer

New executive role will help customers bring fast-evolving technologies to market with confidence

UL Solutions names Kelly Manthey as Executive Vice President and Chief AI & Digital Trust Officer

In this newly established role reporting directly to UL Solutions President and CEO Jennifer Scanlon, Manthey will lead the company’s enterprise strategy to commercialize and scale AI-enabled solutions, advance digital trust and help customers innovate in this fast-growing space with confidence.

Manthey joins UL Solutions with more than 25 years of leadership experience in technology and professional services. As Global CEO and a board member of Kin + Carta, Manthey transformed and grew the business, expanded its data and AI capabilities and led its sale to BC Partners. She later led Kin + Carta’s integration into Valtech across North and Latin America following a 2024 acquisition.

Manthey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Kent State University. She remains connected to the rapidly evolving technology environment through technology startup board roles and is involved in the Chicago community through her role on the board of directors of Skills for Chicago.
