Marsh Completes Acquisition of Accel Holdings

Marsh (NYSE:MRSH), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the completion of its previously announced agreement to acquire Accel Holdings, Inc, a leading diversified independent insurance and advisory firm headquartered in Waverly, Iowa. Accel will operate within Marsh Agency. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

With the acquisition now closed, Marsh Agency’s Upper Midwest team has strengthened its presence in Iowa and gained retirement and wealth capabilities, as well as extensive agribusiness knowledge, which will enhance Marsh Agency’s current offerings. All Accel Group colleagues have joined Marsh Agency and will continue to operate from their current locations.
