By Aimee Look
Givaudan reported nine-month sales that aligned with analysts' expectations, and reaffirmed it is likely to exceed its midterm sales growth targets.
The Swiss flavor-and-fragrance company had sales of 5.74 billion Swiss francs ($7.14 billion) for the first nine months of 2025, up 5.7% from the same period the year prior on a like-for-like basis, it said Tuesday.
Analysts had anticipated an average of 5.745 billion francs for sales in the period, according to consensus compiled by the company.
Sales on a like-for-like basis in the company's fragrance and beauty arm increased 8% to 2.92 billion francs, and 3.4% to 2.82 billion francs for its taste and wellbeing division.
Givaudan reiterated that it is likely to exceed the upper end of 4% to 5% like-for-like sales growth on a five-year average for the 2021-25 period.
