Rocket Pharmaceuticals Shares Surge after FDA Accepts Drug Application Resubmission

By Nicholas G. Miller

Shares of Rocket Pharmaceuticals surged after the Food and Drug Administration accepted its resubmitted application for its Kresladi drug to treat severe Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency-I, a rare genetic disorder.

The stock rose 16% to $4.04 Tuesday, but is still down 68% so far this year.

The FDA set a deadline of March 28, 2026, to rule on Rocket's application. If approved, the company is eligible for a Rare Pediatric Disease Priority Review Voucher, which would allow it to receive priority review from the FDA for a different product.
