Constellation Software to Buy U.K.'s Tecvia Holding
By Adriano Marchese
Constellation Software said it agreed to acquire U.K.-based Microsoft Solutions partner Tecvia Holding for an undisclosed sum.
Canadian software giant Constellation said that, through its Harris Operating Group, it has entered into a deal to buy the company, which has yet to close.
The Harris Operating Group is one of Constellation's largest and most active acquirers, with a long history of buying software businesses that operate across many sectors from healthcare, utilities to the public and private sectors as well as insurance markets.
Constellation, among the biggest companies in Canada by market capitalization, owns hundreds of vertical-market software businesses through its six operating segments.
Earlier this month, Constellation Software acquired AskCody, a Denmark provider of workplace and meeting-management solutions through Volaris Group, another of its other operating companies. In September, Volaris purchased Bit Soft, a provider of integrated hospitality technology in Romania, Hungary, France and Bulgaria.
