By Cristina Gallardo

Airbus said IndiGo, India's largest airline, placed firm order for 30 additional A350-900 aircraft, as part of its plan to enter the long-haul international market.

These new 30 aircraft will expand IndiGo's total A350 orders to 60 planes, Airbus said Friday.

The two companies had signed a memorandum of understanding in June agreeing to this order, the aerospace group added.
