Ramaco Shares Up on Critical-Minerals Stockpile Collaboration With Goldman Sachs
By Adriano Marchese
Ramaco Resources shares rose after the miner announced a collaboration with Goldman Sachs to develop a specialized critical-materials and rare-earth minerals terminal at its site in Wyoming.
Shares traded 15% higher at $34.08 in early trading.
Ramaco said on Friday that Goldman Sachs will act as the exclusive structuring agent for its plan to establish a strategic critical-minerals terminal at its Brook Mine facility.
The terminal will serve as a centralized facility for storing and managing critical minerals and rare-earth elements, with potential tolling and processing services for third-party producers, the Lexington, Ky., company said.
The initiative aims to support domestic supply chain stability and national security by offering long-term inventory solutions, said Ramaco.
