Sherwin Williams appointed Benjamin Meisenzahl as its next chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1.

Meisenzahl succeeds Allen Mistysyn, who will assume a short-term transition role before retiring, the paint and coatings company said Tuesday.

Meisenzahl is currently Sherwin Williams' senior vice president, finance. He has worked at the company for 22 years, including in finance and operational roles in its paint stores, performance coatings and global supply chain groups.

Mistysyn has worked at the company for 35 years and has held the CFO role since 2017.
