Heidelberg Materials posted higher third-quarter results from current operations, supported by active price and cost management in all areas.

The German building materials group on Thursday said its results from current operations before depreciation and amortization--the company's preferred metric--for the three months was 1.50 billion euros ($1.72 billion) compared with 1.45 billion euros in the prior-year period. The figure slightly beat analysts' forecasts of 1.49 billion euros, according to a company-compiled consensus.

Results from current operations rose to 1.18 billion euros from 1.12 billion euros, while revenue rose to 5.81 billion euros from 5.76 billion euros.

While results from current operations beat analysts' estimates of 1.16 billion euros, revenue missed a forecast of 5.87 billion euros, according to the same consensus.

"We continued our growth trajectory in the third quarter of 2025, despite ongoing political and economic uncertainties," chairman of the managing board, Dominik von Achten, said.

The group backed its outlook, but tightened its expectations for results from current operations to between 3.30 billion to 3.50 billion euros from its previous guidance of 3.25 billion to 3.55 billion euros. Return on invested capital is still expected at around 10%.
