Experian Expects Revenue Growth at Top End of Guided Range After Strong First-Half

By Elena Vardon

Experian expects to report revenue growth at the top end of its guided range for fiscal 2026 after benefiting from continued momentum in the first half of the year.

The credit-reporting agency on Wednesday said it now expects total revenue growth of 11% for the period and organic revenue growth of 8% at constant exchange rates and on an ongoing basis. Estimates taken from a company-compiled consensus pencil in 7.5% organic revenue growth and $8.35 billion in total revenue for the year.

For the first six months, it reported total revenue of $4.06 billion, which was 12% higher than a year prior at constant rates and 8% ahead on an organic basis and was driven by all regions.

"North America maintained strong momentum, EMEA and Asia Pacific delivered consistent performance, and Latin America and the UK and Ireland grew modestly, with strong Consumer Services results offsetting ongoing macro headwinds," it said.

The London-listed group posted $975 million in pretax profit for the period ended Sept. 30, up from $718 million a year prior on its operating performance, non-cash gains from its Brazilian currency exposure and financing adjustments.

The group declared a first interim dividend of 21.25 cents per share, up 10% on year.
