Novo Nordisk Owner Sells Convatec Stake for $462 Million

Goldman Sachs International said it sold 155 million shares in ConvaTec Group for 351 million pounds ($461.7 million), as first flagged late Monday.
The investment bank said Tuesday it sold the shares at 227 pence each on behalf of Novo Holdings, an investment and holding company that is the controlling shareholder of Ozempic maker Novo Nordisk.
The shares, which represent 7.8% of ConvaTec's issued share capital, were sold via a bookbuild process. The price is a 5.1% discount to the company's closing price of 239.20 pence Monday.
