TotalEnergies, Repsol in Talks to Combine U.K. North Sea Assets, Cinco Dias Says, Citing Sources

--France's TotalEnergies and Spain's Repsol are in advanced talks to combine their oil and gas exploration and production businesses in the U.K. North Sea, Spanish business newspaper Cinco Dias reports, citing unnamed sources.

--Repsol recently established a U.K. joint venture with Neo Energy, and TotalEnergies could join the business by contributing some of its assets, Cinco Dias reports.

--TotalEnergies and Repsol declined to comment to Cinco Dias.
