Nomura to Team Up With OpenAI for Investment Services

Nomura Holdings is starting a strategic collaboration with OpenAI to offer more advanced investment advice and develop new services.

The Japanese financial company said Friday that it would use the ChatGPT maker's strategic and technical support to develop new services as part of the collaboration. Nomura said it aims to combine its extensive data assets with state-of-the-art AI to deliver more advanced investment advice and market analysis.

"Generative AI has the power to do more than boost efficiency. It can fundamentally transform financial services," Nomura Chief Executive Kentaro Okuda said.
