Deutsche Boerse to Complement Dividend With Regular Annual Buybacks
By Mauro Orru
Deutsche Boerse said it would launch a share buyback program of 500 million euros ($581.9 million) next year, part of plans to complement its dividend distribution to better reward shareholders.
The German stock-exchange operator said it was recalibrating its capital allocation principles, combining dividends with regular annual share buybacks. Their volume will be subject to levels of excess liquidity.
Shares bought through next year's buyback program, whose value excludes incidental acquisition costs, will be canceled.
