Trump Media Gains on Plan to Distribute Digital Tokens to Shareholders

Shares of Trump Media and Technology rose after the company said it would distribute digital tokens to shareholders.
The stock was up 4.7%, at $13.17, late Wednesday morning, but has fallen 61% this year.
President Trump's media company said shareholders would receive a digital token for each whole share through a partnership with Crypto.com. It said token holders would be eligible for various rewards over the coming year.
The company didn't say when it would begin distributing tokens, but said it would share additional details in the new year.
