Lonza Sales Grow on New Contract Momentum

By Billy Gray

Lonza said sales grew in 2025 on the strength of new commercial contracts across technology programs.

The healthcare manufacturer and contract-development group on Wednesday reported 2025 sales of 6.53 billion Swiss francs, equivalent to $8.58 billion, up 19.2% compared with 2024. Analysts saw sales for the year at 7.54 billion francs, according to consensus estimates compiled by Vara Research.

Lonza highlighted contract activity at its biologics manufacturing site in Vacaville, Calif., as a reason for its solid performance.

The company reported 2025 core earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of 2.06 billion francs, a 24.9% increase from 2024. Analysts had forecast core Ebitda of 2.27 billion francs, according to Vara Research.

Lonza said that in the current year it expects sales growth of 11% to 12% at constant currencies and further core Ebitda margin expansion, reaching a level above 32%.
