Texas Instruments to Acquire Silicon Labs in Deal Valued at $7.5 Billion

Texas Instruments agreed to acquire Silicon Labs in a deal with an enterprise value of about $7.5 billion, including cash and debt.
The semiconductor company said Wednesday that it would buy Silicon Labs, a wireless technology company, for $231 a share in cash.
Texas Instruments said the deal would be accretive to earnings per share in the first full year post-close.
Closing is expected in the first half of 2027.
